[Rifa News] The "Sino-German Logistics Symposium and the Third Logistics Engineering Forum" organized by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society were held in Shanghai from June 12th to 14th, 2002. The theme of this forum is: the construction, management and operation of modern logistics systems.

Nearly 100 people from more than 40 logistics companies and research institutions at home and abroad attended the meeting. Mr. Zheng Hejun, Vice President of Rifa Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Mr. Yang Min, Manager of Logistics Development Department, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, experts from the German Logistics Institute and Hamburg Project Management Co., Ltd. introduced the development, status and future trends of the German logistics industry, as well as the planning, construction and operation of the logistics park. Everyone analyzed and made speeches on the development direction and current situation of China's logistics. It is believed that in our country, as the pillar industry of the national economy and the third source of profits for enterprises, the logistics industry, if we want to do a good job, make it stronger and bigger, we must change our concepts and improve infrastructure and conditions. , We must be able to get strong support from the government. In short, there is still a long way to go, and there is still a considerable gap in comparison with foreign countries. Logistics is a service-based industry. With the entry of WTO and the opening of the country, opportunities and challenges coexist. So at the same time, everyone also saw hope.

During the conference, the participants also visited the "Seventh China International Material Handling Exhibition" co-sponsored by China Mechanical Engineering Society and Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd. in Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center.
