The third meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th County People's Congress will be held in early June. The meeting will listen to and review reports on the technological transformation of enterprises in our county. In order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the county's technological transformation, improve the quality of deliberation, strengthen supervision, and support and promote the in-depth development of the county's technological transformation, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress will organize personnel to conduct a special survey before the meeting. On May 21st, Liang Fuquan, deputy director of the National People's Congress, led the county people's congress team members to inspect the Rifa Technological Transformation Project. Vice President Zheng Hejun reported to the leaders of the National People's Congress on the status of the technological transformation project of Rifa Group. Technological innovation is the guarantee for an enterprise to maintain its youthful vitality, and increasing investment in technological transformation of the enterprise is an effective means of technological innovation. Rifa is a high-tech enterprise in Zhejiang Province and a high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Program. Its annual R&D investment accounts for about 5% to 7% of sales revenue. In 2003, Rifa spent huge sums of money to carry out a number of technological transformation and innovation projects, which received strong support from relevant government departments, and a number of projects were established in the economic, trade, scientific and technological departments. After half a year of operation, these technological innovation projects are progressing smoothly, and the preliminary input of the project has basically been completed. A batch of domestic and imported equipment has been put in place one after another, laying the foundation for the further implementation of the project. The smooth implementation of Rifa's technological innovation project is mainly due to the strong support of government departments, the concerted efforts of leaders of various companies and business units and members of the project team, and the good operating mechanism of Rifa's project management. Deputy Director Liang spoke highly of Rifa's project implementation and management, and encouraged continued efforts to achieve greater results.
